She'Star Bangladesh is a garment sourcing and manufacturing company based in Uttarkhan, Dhaka. We make clothing to order for brands in Bangladesh, the UK, the EU and the USA.

In this policy, "we", "us" and "She'Star" mean She'Star Bangladesh. "You" means anyone who visits our website or contacts us, including buyers, brand owners and their teams.

We are responsible for the personal information described here. If you have a question about it, you can reach us using the details at the end of this page.

02What we collect

We only collect what we need to answer your enquiry and run your order.

Information you give us

• Contact details: your name, company name, job title, email, phone or WhatsApp number, and country.
• Order details: product type, quantities, target price, delivery dates and any notes you add to the quote form.
• Design files: tech packs, sketches, artwork, logos, size charts and reference photos you send us.
• Business details: billing and shipping addresses, VAT or tax numbers, and the bank or payment details needed to issue a proforma invoice.
• Messages: what you write to us by email, WhatsApp, phone or in person.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, time on page and the site that sent you to us.
• Cookies: small files that help the site work and show us which pages are useful. See the cookies section below.

We do not ask for, and do not want, sensitive personal information such as health, religion or political views.

03How we use it

We use your information to:

• Reply to your enquiry and send you a costed quote.
• Make samples, plan production and ship your order.
• Send proforma invoices, commercial invoices and shipping documents.
• Share QC reports, production updates and photos of your goods.
• Keep records we are required to keep for tax, customs and accounting.
• Improve our website and understand which products buyers look for.
• Send you occasional updates about new capacity or products. You can opt out at any time.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for anything unrelated to our work with you.

04Legal basis (UK and EU buyers)

If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, data protection law asks us to explain why we are allowed to use your information. We rely on:

• Contract: to prepare quotes and fulfil orders you ask for.
• Legal obligation: to keep tax, customs and export records.
• Legitimate interests: to run and improve our business, keep our website secure and follow up on enquiries in a reasonable way.
• Consent: for marketing emails and non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.

05Your designs and tech packs

We know your designs are valuable. We treat every tech pack, pattern, artwork file and sample as confidential.

• We only share them with the people and factories who need them to make your order.
• We do not use your designs for other buyers or sell copies of your products.
• We do not post photos of your products, labels or logos on our website or social media without your written permission.
• We are happy to sign your NDA before you send files.

06Who we share it with

We share information only when we need to, and only as much as the job requires.

• Partner factories: when your order is made in one of our partner units, they receive the specs and files needed for production. They do not get your contact or payment details unless needed.
• Suppliers: fabric, trim, print and wash suppliers may receive specs (not your personal details) to supply materials.
• Logistics: freight forwarders, couriers, shipping lines and customs agents receive the names and addresses needed to ship goods.
• Banks and payment providers: to process payments and letters of credit.
• Inspection agencies: third-party QC or audit firms you or we appoint.
• Service providers: website hosting, email, analytics and cloud storage companies that help us run the business.
• Authorities: government, customs or courts, when the law requires it.

07International transfers

We are based in Bangladesh and many of our buyers are abroad. This means your information may be stored or handled in Bangladesh and in other countries where our service providers operate.

When we move personal information across borders, we take reasonable steps to keep it protected, such as using reputable providers and limiting who can access it.

08Cookies and analytics

Our website uses a small number of cookies.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as well if you do.

09How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not become orders: up to 2 years, so we can follow up or re-quote.
• Order records and invoices: as long as tax, customs and accounting laws require, usually at least 6 years.
• Design files: for as long as we work with you, or until you ask us to delete or return them.
• Marketing list: until you unsubscribe.

When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous.

10How we protect it

We use sensible measures to protect your information, including password-protected systems, limited staff access, and secure email and file storage.

No website or email system is 100% secure. If you are sending very sensitive files, tell us and we can agree a safer way to share them.

11Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
• Ask us to delete your information, unless we must keep it by law.
• Object to or limit how we use it.
• Withdraw consent for marketing at any time.
• Ask us to send your information to you or another company in a common format.

12Children

Our website and services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

13Links to other sites

Our site may link to other websites, such as WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Facebook or Alibaba. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.

14Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. If we make a big change, we will post a clear notice on the website.
